Welcome to The Find Yourself Project! 

This blog is all about finding your natural, unfiltered, raw and authentic identity. We are going to talk about fashion, art, society, movies, pop-culture.... virtually everything. 

But first, a little about me! 

My name is Iris Locket, your digital companion who is trying to become more sure in herself and grow her confidence. I love all things fashion and art, always taking the opportunity to sketch when it arises. I love to discuss and debate - opinions are what make us unique! You can probably tell by the style of this blog that i LOVEEE all things y2k, the whole frutiger universe and anything that is remotely nostalgic. I guess it's because nostalgia is an intangible form of comfort; it just brings warmth without need for explanation... 

i digress haha :D

i also love to read books and sometimes webtoons (literature is timeless xoxo). Most importantly, my favourite thing is when people know who they are. When they are able to be unconditionally themselves, without concerning themselves with the whims of society. To know yourself is to be free (that's my mantra). 

Let's talk about goals. What does this blog intend to achieve for you? (because I've not only made this for me, but for the divas who are finding themselves)

1. To understand and embrace your true style - what do YOU like to wear? Not anyone else - JUST YOU. We are going to find it together but also do it sustainably, affordably and most importantly HAPPILY. 

2. To find comfort within your own personality - what things do we tend to do just to avoid being perceived as "weird" or "different" - let's explore what makes you, YOU! 

3. This is also a space for discussing movies, books and pop culture - finding your music taste, your "aesthetic", we are going to discuss characters we resonate with and how we can adopt their mantras in a fun way!

4. I want all of us to feel at ease with who we really are - that's the end goal.

So yeah! It's going to be a fun time.  I'm going to aim to have a posting schedule so I can remain consistent with the crazy demands of life. But I can't wait to grow this blog into something beautiful - and Im so happy that you are with me along the way <3
